No u-turn on London banks, says SNP
The SNP government has denied it has performed a policy u-turn by asking London based regulators to oversee Scottish banks in an independent Scotland.
They claim they have "defined" the policy.
Financial experts have questioned how having the Bank of England as a regulator would work if it had to deal with two separate finance ministries.
