PMQs: Cameron and Abbott on sacking council directors
Labour MP Diane Abbott said contracts of local government directors bosses must be reviewed, as some who had overseen abuse cases had moved on to better paid work, instead of being sacked.
The prime minister said it showed a "failure in in local government system", and councils "should look carefully at their contracts" and make sure people could be removed.
