E-borders programme 'terminated', says UK Border Force
The E-borders programme which was designed to count people in and out of the UK has been "terminated", MPs have been told by the head of the UK Border Force.
Sir Charles Montgomery told the Commons Home Affairs committee that the permanent secretary was aware of the changes.
But chairman Keith Vaz said this was new information and "certainly different to what the permanent secretary has said".
