Osborne wants above-inflation minimum wage rise
George Osborne has said that he is now in favour of an above-inflation rise in the minimum wage.
Speaking exclusively to the BBC, the Chancellor says that the economic recovery means the country can afford a rise.
He is recommending an increase to the Low Pay Commission, which advises the government on what the rate should be.
The BBC's Political Editor Nick Robinson reports.
