Cable: Early coalition split possible
Business Secretary Vince Cable says it is "certainly possible" that the coalition between the Conservative and Liberal Democrat parties will break up a few months before the next general election.
Ministers have previously insisted the pairing would last until the 2015 election campaign begins.
Answering a question at a fringe event at the Liberal Democrat party conference in Glasgow, Mr Cable described the topic as "highly sensitive".
