Hague: G20 Syria debate was 'heavy going'
Foreign Secretary William Hague has described attempts to reach a diplomatic agreement on Syria at this week's G20 summit as "very heavy going".
Mr Hague said Britain would "keep trying" to convince international leaders that action must be taken against President Bashar al-Assad's forces.
He told the Andrew Marr Show: "You wouldn't call them wholly pleasant occasions - we are dealing with the deaths of tens of thousands of people and a diplomatic solution that has alluded the whole world."
