William Hague: 'Syria chemical attacks a terrible act'

UK Foreign Secretary, William Hague, has described reported chemical attacks in Syria, in which hundreds are said to have died, as ''a terrible act.''

He was speaking to reporters alongside French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius in Paris.

Mr Hague added he hoped the UN team of chemical weapons inspectors will be given the access they need in the Syrian capital, Damascus.
