Lord Lawson: EU membership 'extremely damaging' to UK

The former chancellor of the exchequer, Lord Nigel Lawson, has outlined the reasons why he has called for the UK to leave the European Union.

He said attempts to "over regulate and cut down to size" the banking and financial services sector were "extremely damaging".

Lord Lawson was speaking to the BBC's political editor Nick Robinson.
