MPs prepare to vote on gay marriage in England and Wales

MPs will vote on Tuesday on whether to allow gay couples to get married in civil and religious ceremonies in England and Wales.

The debate has opened up significant differences within the Conservative party - about 150 Tory MPs are expected to defy the Prime Minister's plan to legalise same-sex marriage.

Graham Satchell reports.
