Banking crisis: 'everyone in denial' says Alastair Campbell
Alastair Campbell claimed bankers, politicians and regulators were all in denial over their part in the financial crisis, and stripping Fred Goodwin of his knighthood was irrelevant.
Michael Portillo said "the bankers don't get it" and had no clue about public opinion about the issue, while their bonuses and profits were artificial as they were underwritten by the public purse.
They were debating the film from Gillian Tett on the banking crisis.
