Clegg: AV result a 'bitter blow' to political reform
Liberal Democrat leader, Nick Clegg has called the Alternative Vote result a 'bitter blow' to political reform.
UK voters have rejected a change to the voting system by an overwhelming majority, delivering a defeat to Nick Clegg's party after heavy election losses.
Mr. Clegg went on to say that the referendum is a blow to people "who believe in the need for political reform" but that he would accept the results.
