Winsor: 'Police want pay changes'

Tom Winsor, who has carried out an independent review of police pay in England and Wales, says police officers were "fed up" of the pay system.

The review recommends that a series of allowances and special payments for police officers in England and Wales should be abolished to save hundreds of millions of pounds.

Mr Winsor argued that it wouldn't mean pay cuts for all police staff.
