Mountain rescuers prepare for Yorkshire Tour de France

Mountain rescue experts have been carrying out training exercises in North Yorkshire ahead of the Tour de France's Grand Depart this summer.

Thousands of people are expected to visit the region during the event, which begins in Leeds on 5 July and continues from York to Sheffield on 6 July.

The Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team have been training in preparation for the large visitor numbers.
