University of York student recovers after crash coma
A University of York student who had his skull broken into 30 pieces in a hit-and-run incident has spoken of his battle to recover.
Two of Jack Martindale's friends were killed in the crash which happened on New Year's Eve in 2009.
He was in a coma for three months but has since fought back to health and is about to finish his degree.
