Actor Cliff Parisi in Manston emergency landing

Ex-Eastenders actor Cliff Parisi was a passenger in a light aircraft forced to make an emergency landing hours before a Kent airport is due to close.

The plane touched down at Manston after the pilot diverted with engine trouble.

The airport is to close at 17:00 BST after its owners said no "credible or viable" offers to buy it had been made.

BBC South East's Mark Norman spoke to Mr Parisi, Ian McCoulcough of Unite and airfield engineer Paul Smith.
