Lowestoft beach closed amid safety fears

Barriers are being put up on parts of a Suffolk resort's beach because recent storms have made it unsafe.

The area between Lowestoft South Pier and Parade Road South is being closed off amid fears that part of a public ramp could collapse.

More than £600,000 has been spent in the last five years to try to protect the beach but unusually high tides have done further damage.
