Southwold North Sea oil tanker transfer decision due

Plans to make an area of the North Sea near Southwold in Suffolk the only place in Britain where ships can transfer oil at sea could be confirmed this week.

Campaigners say it will put the entire coastline at risk from an oil spill but ministers say it will benefit the local economy.
