Oxfordshire pair training for charity Pacific row

A pair of Oxfordshire adventurers are taking on a charity challenge to row the Pacific Ocean.

Darren Taylor from Charlbury offered to help Alex Flynn to raise money after his old school friend was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at the age of 36.

Mr Taylor has roped in his fire fighter colleagues to help him train for ocean conditions at Farmoor Nature Reserve.

The two men are aiming to start the 2,700 mile (4350km) Pacific crossing in June.
