BBC Oxford reporter's £53-a-week challenge

A BBC reporter has finished her attempt to live for one week on no more than £53, the same sum Conservative MP Iain Duncan Smith claimed he could live on if he found himself unemployed.

BBC Oxford's Emma Vardy took the challenge following a welfare shake-up which includes cuts to housing benefit for some social housing tenants.

All bills, food, transport, clothes and toiletries needed to come out of her budget.

Did she succeed in the challenge?
