Blood pressure surgery breakthrough in Nottingham
Breakthrough surgery for high blood pressure has been performed for the first time in the East Midlands.
The experimental technique called renal denervation involves burning nerves around the main artery supplying the kidneys.
Linval Henry from Nottingham underwent the procedure because medication was not adequately controlling his condition.
