HS2 director defends East Midlands route

Ian Jordan, the man in charge of the high speed rail route HS2, has answered queries about how the project will affect the East Midlands.

He emphasised the government was committed to helping anyone who was forced to move because of the scheme.

Mr Jordan, HS2 director, answered questions from people concerned about the proposed route when he spoke with BBC's Kylie Pentelow.
