London Rabbi fasts during Islamic holy month of Ramadan

An orthodox Rabbi from Edgware, north London, has fasted during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan like more than a million Muslims in London.

Rabbi Natan Levy, who said he was saddened by the situation in the Middle East, wants to narrow the divide between Judaism and Islam.

BBC London's Asad Ahmad spoke to the rabbi, Omar Salha from the Ramadan Tent Project and Heidi Green, a student at the School of Oriental and African Studies.
