Traffic-free West End shopping day scrapped

A traffic-free scheme introduced to boost business in the West End is to be scrapped.

The VIP shopping weekend, which has seen streets around Oxford Circus pedestrianised to encourage spending, will not happen this year.

BBC London's Emma North spoke with Liberal Democrat London Assembly Member Stephen Knight and retail analyst Jeremy Baker.
