Tower blocks are the hottest place in the UK during a heatwave, researchers suggest.

Resident Trudy Cutts describes how the heat affects the temperature in her flat while professor Li Shao from the University of Reading explains why tower blocks get so hot in a heatwave.

Tenant Mick Dibble, who lives in a ground floor flat, says he is surprised it is warmer at the top.
