Pensioner targeted in 'horrific' fatal robbery

Two 15-year-olds have been sentenced to six years of detention for the manslaughter of an elderly woman who was registered blind.

Paula Castle, 85, died after being pushed to the ground as she was robbed in Greenford last November.

CCTV footage shows the pair spent the money they took on takeaway food, while Mrs Castle suffered with fatal injuries.

Jane Castle, Paula Castle's daughter-in-law, Det Ch Insp Russell Taylor and Mrs Castle's neighbour Linda Smith appear in this report by Guy Smith.
