Army dogs train in Leicestershire for Afghanistan deployment

Army dogs and their handlers are being trained at a military base in Leicestershire, to be sent to protect British soldiers in Afghanistan.

The "Defence Animal Centre" also gives veterinary treatment to some of the dogs who have returned from the front line.

About a thousand of these dogs are currently deployed.
