World War One love letters discovered in attic
Dozens of love letters from a World War One soldier to his sweetheart back home in Yorkshire have been discovered in an attic in Huddersfield.
In the two years Henry Coulter courted Lucy Townend before he was killed in the trenches in France he wrote about 100 letters to her.
They were recently found in a rusty tin and were wrapped in a page of the Huddersfield Examiner newspaper on which was printed Mr Coulter's obituary.
