Rare brain tumour affects Kent woman's hearing
A woman who suffers from a rare brain tumour has been left with a condition which leaves her feeling extremely distressed when she hears people speak.
Katie Barnes, from Northfleet in Kent, has an acoustic neuroma which makes other people sound like robots to her.
It is a benign non-cancerous growth which grows on the acoustic nerve and causes problems with hearing and balance.
She and her daughter, Rebekha Wilson, spoke to Chrissie Reidy.
