VW inspection unit boosts Sheerness port jobs

The opening of a new Volkswagen vehicle inspection unit in Kent is expected to create 100 jobs at the Port of Sheerness.

Peel Ports, which owns the docks, has signed a 10-year deal with Volkswagen to create a new inspection centre for cars being imported into the UK.
