Jayce Carberry develops HIV awareness training course in Kent

A man who said he was "humiliated" by staff at a job centre in Kent due to his HIV status has developed a course to tackle stigma surrounding the virus.

A year ago, Jayce Carberry, from Ramsgate, was told him he would have to see a disability adviser and disclose his HIV positive status to any Maidstone branch members of staff he came into contact with.

The job centre later apologised and introduced new training for employees.

Mr Carberry is launching the Train the Change HIV Aids and stigma awareness course on Thursday, and hopes to take it to workplaces, schools and colleges.

BBC South East Today's Sara Smith spoke to Mr Carberry and his sister Rachel Obbard.
