Beaver is born at Kent wildlife park

The Wildwood Trust in Herne Bay is celebrating the arrival of a baby beaver.

The trust hopes it will be one of 40 released into the wild as part of a project to reintroduce the animal to the Welsh countryside.

Beavers were hunted to extinction in England and Wales during the 12th Century and disappeared from the rest of the UK 400 years later.
