Bishampton villagers campaign to save pub

People living in a Worcestershire village are joining together to take over their local pub to save it for the community.

The residents of Bishampton said they feared that unless they found new tenants for The Dolphin soon, they could lose an important part of their community.

Rodney Hodgkins, of Bishampton and Throckmorton Parish Council, said any landlord would have to "listen to the village and enjoy the village".

Villager Paddy Hartley said to lose the pub would be "devastating".
