Southampton council apologises for failing children
Southampton City Council has apologised for failings which could have prevented the deaths of at least two children, and the sexual abuse and neglect of others under the authority's protection.
Three serious case reviews have been published, which outline a catalogue of failings between 2006 and 2012 by the city's social workers.
Emma Vardy reports.
