Paralysed Hampshire man takes first steps at air ambulance fun run

A 21-year-old man from Hampshire has taken his first steps since he was paralysed in a road accident last year.

Andrew Read, from Waterlooville, has been in a wheelchair since the accident in February 2012.

He made his first steps since the accident during a fun run at Thruxton to raise money for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, credited with saving his life.
