Police warn over tower crane stunt

Three men scaled a tower crane in Southampton and filmed one of them hanging one-handed 315ft high above the ground.

James Kingston climbed the 96m (314ft) crane at Admiral's Quay where a 26-storey residential tower is being built.

Footage filmed by him shows him bypassing the crane's anti-climb shield and hanging from one hand at the top.

Hampshire Police said he gave "no thought to the implications of his actions on others should something go wrong".
