Matthew Kenway's parents welcome improvements
The parents of a child who died of a heart attack at Southampton General Hospital say they hope improvements and better monitoring will mean nobody has to suffer as he did.
Four-year-old Matthew Kenway died in 2010 after going in for a routine kidney operation.
A coroner found there was a delay in summoning an emergency team to restart his heart.
But recording a narrative verdict, coroner Keith Wiseman said Matthew had been closely monitored for "much of the time".
