Surface falls off Poole's new £37m Twin Sails bridge

A new £37m lifting bridge in Dorset needs repairing before it can open after part of the road surface fell off while the bridge was raised.

The problem with the Twin Sails bridge in Poole came to light two days after a celebration event marking its opening.

It is not yet known when the bridge will be open for traffic.
