Signs for Damien Hirst's Verity anger Ilfracombe's shopkeepers

Signs directing visitors to Damien Hirst's Verity statue in Ilfracombe have been changed after complaints from shopkeepers.

Traders said the signs took visitors away from the High Street.

Verity, a 65ft (20m) high bronze statute of a naked pregnant woman wielding a sword, went up next to the harbour in October.
