First look inside Derby's indoor velodrome

Work is progressing on Derby's new stadium which will include an indoor velodrome, the fourth of its kind in England.

Councillor Martin Repton from the city council said the stadium had been attracting interest from across the country.

Project Director, Neil Brook added: "It will be a very prestige velodrome.

"There's only one of these velodromes of this type in Europe, with the lower central section, and that's in Portugal."

BBC East Midlands Today got a first look inside the new stadium.
