Pride of Cumbria helicopter celebrates 10th anniversary
Those who have been rescued by the Great North Air Ambulance have gathered to mark the 10th anniversary of its Pride of Cumbria aircraft.
The helicopter has been used by a service which has taken part in more than 4,500 call-outs over the last decade.
Pol Donaldson says that when her son had an accident five years ago, it was "touch and go" and had it not been for the speed of the aircraft, she thinks he "would have died".
