Underground cricket match staged at Honister Slate Mine

Players from two village cricket teams played a one-off match at Honister Slate Mine deep inside a Lake District mountain.

The 'extreme underground cricket' fixture saw Threlkeld take on Caldbeck in a cavern at Fleetwith Pike.
