Bid to recreate historic Waterbird flight
A team is hoping to recreate Britain's first successful floatplane flight by building a replica.
Waterbird took off and landed safely on Windermere on 25 November 1911.
Now enthusiasts are bidding to recreate that flight in 2014 by building a replica of the plane.
They have launched a £160,000 fundraising drive to help them complete it.
Relatives of those involved in the original plane and Ian Gee from the Lakes Flying Company talk about their plans.
