West Midlands vigilante claims are denied by police chief
The Chief Constable of the West Midlands has dismissed claims that some communities are taking the law into their own hands.
It comes after Tom Winsor, the Chief Inspector of Constabulary, said officers were rarely called to some neighbourhoods in cities in the Midlands because communities preferred to take the law into their own hands.
