Birmingham campaign targets lads' mags
A Birmingham women's group has called on shops in the city to stock so-called lads' mags on the top shelf, away from children.
The Women's Networking Hub said the sexual content of the magazines meant they should sit next to pornography and away from children's comics and magazines.
Sian McClure, a member of the Shelve It campaign, said children needed to be protected.
The group has already called on newsagents, supermarkets and petrol stations to move lads' mags to at least five feet nine inches (1.75m) off the floor.
