University tests Jamaican team
University of Birmingham scientists have revealed details of some of the work they did with the Jamaican Olympic team ahead of London 2012.
The team spent three weeks at the university ahead of the games.
Athlete Hansel Parchment spent his Olympic build-up training there, working with scientists to improve his starting technique. He went on to win a bronze medal.
