Normalisation breaks for bomb disposal teams

Teams of Army bomb disposal experts have been taking part in outdoor activity courses in an attempt to get used to everyday life at home after being on the front line in Afghanistan.

Members of 11 Explosive Ordnance Disposal Regiment have spent time in the Peak District after their high-pressure work clearing explosives in Afghanistan.

The normalisation sessions, run by the Oxfordshire charity the Felix Fund, give service personnel a chance to reflect and talk about their experiences in war zones.
