Milton Keynes Winter Wonderland criticised by visitors

Visitors to a Winter Wonderland Christmas theme park in Milton Keynes that closed on its second day will get their money back, organisers said.

The attraction at Campbell Park, which included paid-for events such as ice skating, opened on Saturday.

But its Facebook page was deluged by people angry at what was on offer. Some said Santa's Grotto was staffed by young, thin men and an ice rink was described as "a few plastic sheets".

Organiser Lorenzo Franco said 200 people had already been refunded.

Alex Dunlop reports.
