Leighton Buzzard siege: Fears for jailed army veteran

The two-year prison sentence given to an army veteran with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) would do him more harm than good, his partner said.

Former corporal Mark McLees, 42, of Leighton Buzzard, pleaded guilty to making threats with an imitation firearm on 5 February.

His partner Jane Hill-Phillips told Neil Bradford that the "hard" prison sentence would do nothing for his PTSD.
