Freak weather causes chaos across parts of England
Lightning strikes, hail, torrential rain and flash flooding have hit parts of the east and south-east England, causing travel chaos.
There have been problems on the roads in Sussex, Essex and London, and police have issued warnings to drivers.
Electrical supply problems caused by a lightning strike have also led to disruption on Southern Railways, with services subject to delays.
Footage from viewers shows hail and flooding outside homes in Hove, Brighton and Worthing.
