Drug addiction play focuses on family plight

A support group in Portsmouth for the families of drug addicts says too many relatives are suffering in silence.

The city has the fifth highest level of opiate and crack cocaine use in the South East, but the Rebound Carers Group says shame stops many families coming forward.

Together with the police and council, it has helped bring a play to the city that tells the true story of the devastating effects drugs had on a family from Berkshire.
